Welcome to my website and thank you for visiting. I am a writer of both children's books, short stories and flash fiction. I will be sharing my stories, as well as providing a platform for other authors and poets. My aim is to help link authors and readers because a good story should be shared and there is nothing better than finding that one author who writes stories you love.

My Story
I was born in Preston Lancashire. As a teenager, I lived in Tenerife for several years before returning to the UK. I now live in Poulton-Le-Fylde with my husband and dog Seve: Yes named after the greatest golfer ever.

In 1991 aged 22, I was diagnosed with renal failure and spent 3 1/2 years on dialysis, before receiving a live donor transplant from my mother in January 1995. It was then that I took up writing as a hobby.

In 2018 I decided to take writing seriously and my first picture book Rainbow Dust was published in July 2019.
​
Although I love writing children's books, I also write short stories; one of which was recently aired on radio Lancashire. and a ghost short story which has been published on the Blackpool Horror Society. I am also working on 3 different novels; one a historical family saga set during WWI, the other, a crime thriller and the third a true chick-lit. I am also working on a young adult fantasy book.
